And we Have a Theme!

After having a long conversation with the Bride over the phone tonight, we have greatly narrowed the colors and overall look of the flowers.

She wants red roses for herself, but loves calla lilies. So red and white, with accents of a celery green... similar to this bouquet at bloomeryweddings.com.

This hand-tied bouquet featured twenty deep red and bicolor (Latin Lady) roses, seven white mini calla-lilies, red spray roses, red hypericum berries and cedar and salal greenery. The stems were wrapped with white satin ribbon, and finished with a row of pearls.
bouquet, at www.katieelfers.com, also shows off red roses beautifully, though instead of the pretty pale green orchids, sub in the calla lilies.. She writes,

This bouquet was so glam! It features over two dozen Black Magic red roses along with green mini-cymbidium orchids and hypericum berries tied with Kiwi Green satin ribbon.
Sounds heavy! Thank goodness we've decided to use artificial flowers, not only to save on cost, but so that we can make all the bouquets, corsages, and boutonnieres ahead of the date.

This is the dress she ordered (it should be arriving any day now!) Very pretty, perfect for a spring wedding. I love how it looks very relaxed, and the embroidery at the waist is lovely. I can't wait to see her in the dress.
